    Please send ad materials by the art due date indicated in your media kit.
    • It is recommended to have all color ads accompanied by a digital color proof that meets SWOP standards. (No ink jet prints or Epson proofs.) WITHOUT A PROOF, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE COLOR QUALITY.
    • Ad disk should be accompanied by a proof. We will not process the ad without a proof.

    Delivery
    Please provide materials on disk or via email (as a tiff with LZW compression or as a StuffIt file, to magnetmag@aol.com), web link or FTP site link (please email for address).

    FORMATS
    1. Photoshop Tiff
    • Make sure your file is CMYK (if color) and 300 dpi.
    • Images must be in CMYK and meet SWOP standards. (No spot colors.) Ink densities should not exceed 310%. Please keep this in mind when converting images, as it will effect final printed image.
    • Please do not save an embedded profile with your Photoshop files. Images should be produced for a dot gain of around 20%.
    • We will not accept files that are in layers. All Photoshop files must be flattened.

    2. PDF
    • All PDF files should be preflighted and V1.3 compatible, PDF/X-1a files. We can not accept V1.6.
    Other Specifications
    • Double check that size and, if applicable, the bleed and safety of your ad is correct.
    • Name the ad with the client name and size of ad (e.g., ABC Records 1/2 vert 4C).
