Monogold‘s new album is called Babyfood, and like actual baby food, the trio’s music goes down easy. (We’re talking about the applesauce-type kiddie stuff, not any of that gross veggie crap; that’d be a mean and inaccurate comparison.) “Cinnamon” is MAGNET’s mp3 of the day, and it’s a lovely indie-rock jangle defined by a wistful falsetto and some surprisingly dense pop.
