Breaking news: Hell froze over! There is a “new” Hüsker Dü release. On November 10, the Numero Group will issue Savage Young Dü, which compiles 69 tracks (47 of them previously unreleased) from 1979-1983 by Grant Hart, Bob Mould and Greg Norton. The anthology includes first single “Statues,” debut album Everything Falls Apart, an alternate recording of Land Speed Record, plus demos, live material and more over three CDs or four LPs … St. Vincent‘s Masseducation, the 13-track follow-up to 2014’s St. Vincent, is out October 13 via Loma Vista … Also on October 13, the Rural Alberta Advantage returns with The Wild on Saddle Creek … OK, now October 13 is officially a party: Squeeze is in the house, with new album The Knowledge arriving courtesy of the Love label … Charlotte Gainsbourg‘s fourth studio album, Rest, is out November 17 via Because Music … On November 10, Dualtone will issue Lost At Last Vol. 1, Langhorne Slim‘s follow-up to 2015’s The Spirit Moves … Pearl Jam/Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron will release the solo Cavedweller on September 22 … John Maus‘ fourth album, Screen Memories, is out October 27 via Ribbon Music … Naughtland, the first Nurses LP in six years, is being self-released October 6 … Blake Hazard (ex-Submarines) will release Possibilities At Sea on November 3 … Famed photographer William Eggleston releases his debut album, Musik, on October 20 via Secretly Canadian … The 26th album by the Church, Man Woman Life Death Infinity, is out October 6 … Thrum, LP number 14 from Joe Henry, will be released October 27 via earMUSIC … Escape-ism (a.k.a.
