The 10-year anniversary of Okkervil River’s Black Sheep Boy will be celebrated on December 4, when Jagjaguwar releases an anniversary edition as a three-LP set combining the original album with Black Sheep Boy Appendix and a previously unreleased covers record, There Swims A SwanEleanor Friedberger, formerly of Fiery Furnaces, has announced the January 22 release of her third solo album, New View, via Frenchkiss. She’ll play a handful of shows around the U.S. next week … SVIIB will be the final studio album from School Of Seven Bells, due to the departure of Claudia Deheza in 2010 and the death of Benjamin Curtis in 2013. It will be available from Vagrant in February 2016 … UMe will issue all 11 albums Roy Orbison recorded with MGM as a boxed set, The MGM Years, on December 4. Also available will be a “lost” album from 1969, One Of The Lonely Ones, containing 12 never-before-heard tracks … On November 30, Carly Simon will release the musical companion to her upcoming memoir, Boys In The Trees, via Rhino. Songs From The Trees (A Musical Memoir Collection) will contain 31 tracks spread across two discs and includes two previously unreleased tracks … A double live album chronicling Neil Finn And Paul Kelly’s 2013 Australian tour, Goin’ Your Way, will be available in the U.S. on December 11 from Omnivore … Light In The Attic has announced the Lee Hazlewood Archival Trilogy, featuring Lee Hazlewood’s three solo records from 1966-1968 for MGM, due out January 22 on LP and CD.
