I Can’t Stop is the latest release from the legendary BoDeans, who started making music together more than 30 years ago. The band will be touring throughout the rest of the year, but in the meantime, frontman Kurt Neumann, multi-instrumentalist Sam Hawksley and drummer Kenny Aronoff will be guest editing magnetmagazine.com all week.
Neumann: Sherman is orange. Orange cat. One amongst five feral cats that showed up at our door after their dad died. Sherman is really the friendliest, most domesticated of the bunch. Recently, he’s been attacked and ostracized by one of the other cats, especially the cat called DC. DC is by far the greediest, most mean-spirited of the bunch. He looks the most like his dad. But he is nothing like his dad. Now Sherman stays away most days. But once a week or so, I see him standing at the edge of our yard. I pour some food out for him and stand there while he eats so no other cats will fuck with him. They say the meek shall inherit the earth. But for now, it will just get you some fucking fangs in your fucking neck.
