The Wheel Workers, a Houston five-piece, were recently nominated as the city’s “best pop act” at last year’s Houston Press Music Awards and now ready for the release of new album Citizens, due out May 29. First single “Yodel” for is available for free download, and it’s painfully catchy. The track has a polka-sounding edge to it as well as some interesting synth work toward the end.
