The November 5 release of the new Midlake album, Antiphon, has been announced by the ATO label. The band will precede the album with several tour dates this September alongside Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros … Late March, Death March is a five-song EP by Frightened Rabbit, due out via Atlantic on September 10. A supporting North American tour will take place this fall … Tired Pony’s sophomore record, The Ghost Of The Mountain, is due out October 1 via Gary Lightbody’s own Heaneyville label … On September 10, Minus The Bear will release Acoustics II, which showcases acoustic re-workings of songs from each of the band’s five studio albums … Rounder Records has announced the September 24 release of American Radical Patriot, a limited-edition six-CD boxed set featuring the full five-hour session of Woody Guthrie’s Library Of Congress recordings from 1940 … The 30th birthday of Tears For FearsThe Hurting will be celebrated with the release of an anniversary deluxe edition, complete with live sessions, b-sides and remixes. It’s out October 22 from Mercury/UMe … M. Ward, Will Oldham, KT Tunstall, Andrew Bird and Steve Shelley all made guest appearances on Howe Gelb’s new album, The Coincidentalist, which is set for a November 5 release on New West  … Folly is Kitchens Of Distinction’s first album in 19 years, and it will be issued by 3 Loop Music on September 30 … Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. will release his new solo album, AHJ, via Cult Records on October 8 … The 10th album from Melt-Banana, fetch, will be available October 1 on A-Zap Records … A two-hour sketch-comedy-show-meets-concert featuring Puscifer, titled What Is…, is set for a November 26 issue via Puscifer Entertainment. Prior to that release, a track-for-track remix album of the band’s second record, Conditions Of My Parole, will be out August 27 … On October 15, Pettifer Sounds will issue Linda Thompson’s first album in six years, Won’t Be Long NowThe Martha’s Vineyard Ferries will release Mass. Grave on October 15 via Kiam Records.
