Matt Reilly and Ian Vanek’s punk ethic doesn’t need further proof. After you have performed on the back of a moving truck, people kind of stop questioning how punk you are. These two Brooklynites make up rising band Japanther. The duo’s latest LP, Eat Like Lisa Act Like Bart, will be released via Recess Records on May 21.
