Vibraphonist Jason Marsalis recently toured with banjoist Bela Fleck and pianist Marcus Roberts, but on February 19, he’s back as a bandleader. In A World Of Mallets (Basin Street) is the follow-up to 1998’s Year Of The Drummer and 2000’s Music In Motion. Marsalis is the youngest brother of esteemed jazzmen Branford, Wynton and Ellis.
