Made up of Spencer Seim of Hella and folk singer Aaron Ross, Solos are the most spastic glitch-rock fusion this side of the Mae Shi. “Carpe Diem,” off Beast Of Both Worlds (out September 11 via Joyful Noise), sounds like a messed-up collision of Dan Deacon, Figurines and even AC/DC or Van Halen.
