Erika Spring of Au Revoir Simone just made the leap into solo musicianship with her self-titled debut EP (on Cascine). Backed by Violens’ Jorge Elbrecht on drums, “Hidden” is a largely percussive pop song. Electro keys carry the melody, but the beat, including what sounds like timpani drums and some rhythmic breathing, is where the song shines. Download it below.
