Little Hurricane is an appropriate name for this San Diego duo. Members CC and Tone give us a ground-shakin’, noun-verbin’ performance via new track “Fourth Of July.” The song is part rock, part blues, with gritty guitars and powerful vocals. The bass line plummets and spring backs over and over, adding serious rhythm to the track. It’s a straight-forward power ballad, with vaguely political undertones (the chorus reminds listeners that “You gotta share the wealth/More than you wanna know”). “Fourth Of July” is off Little Hurricane’s brand new debut album, Homewrecker (Unknown Breakthrough).
