Film At 11: Cults

Cults’ “You Know What I Mean” is a slow-paced, emotionally charged little number off the band’s self-titled debut (on In The Name Of/Columbia), and the song’s video is every bit as good. Mixing the sweet with the sad, the clip focuses on an unlikely romance in the middle of a circus camp. Played by bandmates (and real-life lovebirds) Madeline Follin and Brian Oblivion, the couple finds ways to keep its love alive in the face of disaster. Raw and quietly disarming, the video lulls and surges just like the song. Watch it below.
