Bitch Magnet, a seminal post-punk band started in the ’80s at Oberlin College in Ohio, is re-releasing its entire library of studio albums, including a few unreleased tracks from the early days, on December 6 via Temporary Residence Limited. For many, Bitch Magnet paved the way for many similar-sounding groups to emerge in the ’90s and beyond. On fan favorite “Mesentery,” Sooyoung Park’s eerie, whispering vocals and an insanely catchy bass groove prove that good music never goes out of style. Bitch Magnet, which just recently came out of retirement, is currently playing some live dates and will co-headline The Garage in London on December 13 with Hot Snakes. Download “Mesentery” below.
