MAGNET Exclusive: Stream The New Mommyheads Album

In the music industry, bands come and go. Some are fortunate to last decades and leave a strong legacy behind (i.e., R.E.M.), while others fade fast from our memory. The Mommyheads were an American pop group on the indie scene from 1987 through 1998, disbanding after a year signing to Geffen. The band members went their separate ways only to find themselves back together in 2007 after the untimely death of drummer Jan Kotik, who lost his battle with cancer. They reunited for a tribute show in NYC and, shortly thereafter, found themselves back in the mix, wanting to make music again. On October 18, the Mommyheads return with Delicate Friction (Dromedary), their first new record in a decade. We are proud to exclusively stream the album on magnetmagazine.com. Check it out below.
