“MindKilla” is off Eye Contact (4AD), the fifth studio album from beat-heavy, hard-charging, electroclash group Gang Gang Dance. The Manhattan fivesome has survived touring with undomesticated neo-psychedelia clan of Montreal and will embark on its own headlining U.S. stint in September. Unlike many synth- and keyboard-faithful bands where the singer takes a back seat to the music, Lizzi Bougatsos’ high-pitched vocals stand out and draw you in amid the throbbing and buzzing, a la Karen O. Gang Gang Dance recently had the legendary Lee “Scratch” Perry remix “MindKilla,” and you can download both the original and the remix below.
