Still hauntingly beautiful, Marianne Faithfull has come a long way from being Mick Jagger’s arm candy and drug-bust accomplice to totally eclipsing her onetime boyfriend in the solo-album sweepstakes. Her finely aged vocal prowess has recently attracted a bevy of young stars that includes Rufus Wainwright, Cat Power and Antony Hegarty into the recording studio. Faithfull’s new album, Horses And Heels, was recently released by the Naïve label, and she just played the Montreal Jazz Festival.
