Armand Margjeka is an Albania-born, Alabama-based singer/songwriter who is self-releasing his debut solo album on August 8. The 10-song Margo Margo combines tracks Margjeka recorded in his bedroom with ones cut in a studio with Birmingham session musicians. Says Margjeka of the album, “I love folk and country, but I want to do music without any preconceived parameters. I like to combine unexpected elements in my music.
