Today marks the release date of M.T. Bearington‘s sophomore LP, Love Buttons (Safety Meeting). The 11-track album was produced by Fuzzy Rainbow Production (Fake Babies, Eula) and Greg Giorgio (Interpol, National) and, true to its title, addresses the always-complicated subject of love. M.T. Bearington started out as the one-man recording project of ex-Weigh Down frontman Matt Thomas, who was convinced by friend and Mate Of State Jason Hammel to assemble a band for a 2008 show. We are proud to premiere Love Buttons track ”Bed Gnome” today on magnetmagazine.com. And as a bonus, here’s another song from the album as well, “Dark Night.”
