In a musical climate where everything is seemingly faxed in, and not even by the singer/band themselves. Kristeen Young gracefully stomps into the the half light of flame promising a none stop bus journey to nowhere and everywhere.
Her music and words are her own creation, as is her stage wear…she is without doubt one of the more creative people in the music world. In my mind the music industry needs here more than she needs it.
Real talent is hard to find, which is why one could watch Xfactor and its ilk for a 1004 years and still not find a decent pop star with a voice the moves and stirs the emotions.
The fact that she is with out a record label is a crime..but what can one expect from a music business that has reduced music to such a level that one can get a CD free with newspaper? Not to mention the irksome fact that most labels are more concerned with selling ringtones than actual singles and LPs.
If the music business continues going the way it has been for the last 10 years there will be no business left.
Record label or no record label, music business or no music business Kristeen,I expect, will always sing and create, why? Because she must- and that speaks volumes.
