The Two Koreas are releasing third album Science Island today via the Randy Vicar and Last Gang labels. The Toronto band is fronted by former MAGNET writer Stuart Berman, who describes TTK as purveyors of “glacial garage.” (You can see why Berman makes his living as a music critic, huh?) Science Island was produced by Jon Drew (Fucked Up, Tokyo Police Club) and comes on the heels of guitarist Kieran Grant almost dying from a serious case of ulcerative colitis that caused him to lose more than 60 pounds.
