Brooklyn’s Vivian Girls will release their third album on April 12. The 10-track Share The Joy, which follows 2008′s Vivian Girls and 2009′s Everything Goes Wrong, is the trio’s first for the Polyvinyl label and was recorded by Jarvis Taveniere (Woods) at his Brooklyn home studio. Share The Joy also marks the debut of new drummer Fiona Campbell, who joins guitarist/vocalist Cassie Ramone and bassist/vocalist Kickball Katy in the VG’s lineup. The band has a one-off L.A. gig and four Bruise Cruise dates this month, but the ladies will embark on a proper North American tour with Black Lips in April.
