Seattle’s Ivan & Alyosha returns February 1 with Fathers Be Kind (Missing Piece), a five-track EP that’s the follow-up to 2009’s acclaimed The Verse, The Chorus. Dostoyevsky fans will no doubt recognize the Brothers Karamazov reference of the foursome’s moniker, but we’re not sure how many MAGNET readers are into philosophical Russian classics, so trust us when we tell you Ivan & Alyosha’s brand of guitar pop can be appreciated by just about anyone.
