The Handsome Family‘s latest album isn’t new at all. The self-released Scattered: A Further Collection Of Lost Demos, Orphaned Songs And Odd Covers is exactly what it sounds like: odds ‘n’ sods from various compilations, covers of songs by the likes of Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and the Beatles and other tracks that never made to albums. Scattered is only available from the band’s website, but you’ll be able to buy it at the duo’s upcoming West Coast shows, which kick off January 19.
