If you live outside the Philly area, the name Palmyra Delran would seem completely unremarkable to you. But Philadelphians know both words as the names of suburbs located just across the river in New Jersey. Anway, Delran the person is the frontwoman of legendary female garage band the Friggs, and she just released a new digital single. B-Side “Lies For You” was recently named the “coolest song in the world” on Sirius Radio’s Little Steven’s Underground Garage, but while we wouldn’t quite got that far praising it, the tune is pretty damn good.
