San Francisco’s Silver Swans give new meaning to the term “dream pop.” Ann Yu (of LoveLikeFire) and Jon Waters (a DJ producer) combine hypnotic synth and whispery vocals to create a pillow of sound, and the fact that the duo (which takes its name from the super villains of Wonder Woman comics) recorded its Secrets EP in Yu’s bedroom—often late at night—adds to its dreamy, atmospheric quality. As you might guess, the EP’s titular track (which can be downloaded below) is perfect for when you’re winding down for bed.
