A.R.E. Weapons is an electro-punk band hailing from New York City. Since forming in 1999, the group has released five full-lengths, the latest being the just-issued Darker Blue (Defend). Longtime fans of the Weapons will not be disappointed, as their heavily synthesized sound and yelping vocals remain intact. We have the first single from the album for download. “Mr. Creature” is a wash of synthesized distortion, belligerent vocals and catchy bass riffs.
