Just listened to the double album and I was struck by how hot the guitar is. The liner notes booklet does mention TK did lead G for one of Bob's groups, but I had always thought of TK as just a brilliant songwriter. That is confirmed with this Retro, but the blistering guitar really hit me hard. I hope to catch TK this tour for the first time after being a fan since the 82/83 debut for the local boy.

I HIGHLY recommend getting this album and then working out from there.

Nice words. Been a fan of TK since the Dolphin Records days. "Back Again" and "When The Truth Is Found" are two early faves. Living in Colorado, I never got to see him play live, at least out here.. Flew to LA to see him play with Bob Pollard at the Kitchen (it helped that Supergrass was playing in LA the same weekend) and finally got to see a Tommy Keene set at SXSW this year in a nice small bar. The man is criminally underappreciated as much as Big Star USED to be.
