Los Angeles band Night Horse teamed up with producer Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Pearl Jam, Isis) for its upcoming LP, Perdition Hymns, which is due out August 3 via Tee Pee Records. Night Horse plays stoner rock at its best on album track “Rollin’ On,” which has a slow tempo, the crudest bass line and dirtier guitar work than the gods of stoner rock themselves, Valient Thorr. Night Horse also dropped a free EP called Sympathy Ain’t Free June 15 through the band’s website.
