Despite what its name might imply, Mountain Man is a trio of ladies from Vermont, and they create dreamy folk music with gorgeous feminine harmonies. The hollow, sparsely acoustic “Soft Skin" sounds like early Joni Mitchell—if she married Fleet Foxes. Debut full-length Made The Harbor is out July 20 on Partisan Records.
