Jews And Catholics, hailing from Winston-Salem, N.C., have just released their debut album, Who Are? We Think We Are! (307 Knox). Guitarist and vocalist Eddie Garcia and upright bassist Alanna Meltzer offer a disjointed, full-bodied post-punk sound. To mark the release of their Mitch Easter-produced LP, we’re offering up two tracks. “Up For Days” starts out with a lot of noise, then matures into catchy number with a slight honky-tonk flair. “Fevers” is more of grunge-rock piece similar to the Vines.
