You’ve heard World Atlas’ latest single, “The Winter Stories,” before. Maybe you even wrote it once, sitting on a plastic lawn chair next to some college buddies on the cracked concrete patio of the Brooklyn apartment you’re all renting after graduating from art school. Clapping your hands, tapping your feet, someone’s got his late grandfather’s harmonica and another her violin from high school. You just plugged in your amp, and your friend is dancing around with the tambourine he made himself. You sing and your idol, Stuart Murdoch, slips through into your soft, clear exaltations.
