Canadian quartet Wolf Parade is releasing its third full-length, Expo 86 (Sub Pop), on June 28. It’s the follow-up to 2008’s At Mount Zoomer and was produced with the help of Howard Bilerman, former drummer of Arcade Fire. Just off a tour of Europe, Wolf Parade will be gigging in the U.S. again come July, hitting both coasts. To help whet your appetites, these indie-minded Canucks are offering up two tracks before Expo 86 hits the stores. The first, “What Did My Lover Say (It Always Had To Go This Way),” is a fast-paced, bluesy, rock number with Dan Boeckner’s voice taking on a Modest Mouse sort of warble. The second, “Ghost Pressure,” is much more poppy and features the synthesizer prominently.
