Frog Eyes writes tunes for the last five minutes of the party. Or for the end of the world. These songs are full of grand, frantic desperation. Fans of Wolf Parade, Modest Mouse and Sunset Rubdown might already be on board; if not, they probably haven’t heard Frog Eyes yet. The group’s latest album, Paul’s Tomb: A Triumph, will be released Tuesday via Dead Oceans. Download two tracks from the album below: “Lear In Love” (at times sounding like a fuzzed-up Born To Run-era Springsteen) and “A Flower In A Glove” (the epic, nine-minute opener).
