MP3 At 3PM: La Strada

lastrada6162La Strada is a New York band named after Federico Fellini’s 1954 film about a traveling street performer. The moniker is fitting, as La Strada resembles a modern-day roving gypsy band, with five members who play an eclectic assortment of instruments including accordion and violin. Together, they create lovely, slightly European-sounding folk music complete with wanderlust-inspired lyrics. Debut album New Home is out on April 20 via Ernest Jenning Record Co. MAGNET is proud to premiere the LP’s first single, “My New Home,” below.
