All three members of Detroit’s Awesome Color have adopted the word “Awesome” as last names, and they probably deserve it after years of relentless touring in support of other bands such as Sonic Youth and Dinosaur Jr. The trio will continue to tour the U.S. for this month (including a performance at SXSW), leading up to the release of its third album, Massa Hypnos (Ecstatic Peace), on April 6.
