The new millennium’s answer to the Lennon Sisters is the Langley Sisters, a family trio from London that creates music that sounds like it was pulled from the pages of a fairy tale. “Strange To Be In Love,” for example, overflows with heavenly vocal harmonies and whimsical lyrics, such as “I’ll be your Rita Hayworth if you’ll be my Clark Gable, too.” The girls’ first release will be a limited-edition seven-inch, Queen Bee (Velvet Blue Music), which was recorded and produced by Ed Harcourt.
