Austin, Texas, trio Harlem follows up its 2008 Free Drugs debut with Hippies (Matador). The album, due April 6, was recorded with the assistance of Mike McHugh (Brimstone Howl, Jon Spencer, Andre Williams) at Costa Mesa, Calif.’s Distillery Studios. Download lead single “Friendly Ghost” (a jangly, dance-y, garage-pop number), and catch the band at New York City’s Mercury Lounge on February 10.
