What a pathetic year for re-issues and colletions. The aritsts here are all gerat, but this is nearly *everything* that was re-issued or collected in 2009 worth tracking down. Not so long ago, I could make a list of 50 re-issues/comps/box sets which intrigued me. Gone, apparently, are the days when labels like Rhino Records would release a plethora of amazing box sets. This year we get two. Another sign of the death of the CD, I guess.

....no Neil Young Archieve, Vol. 1? I mean, you only have 5, would have hurt to put this on there - it really is great.

Yes, that Emitt Rhodes. This is all subjective. It would be boring otherwise.

Emmit Rhodes of "Glen Campbell Show" fame? My sister got all gaga over him and bought his first album. I eventually unceremoniously melted it on the picnic table in the hot July sun along with a copy of Lennon and Ono's "Two Virgins". I'd be rich if I still owned the latter!
