Applaud the alterations: The Phenomenal Handclap Band has gathered up the finest electronic remix enthusiasts from around the globe that it could get its fingers on to contribute to online-only release “15 To 20″/”You’ll Disappear”, out last month on Friendly Fire Recordings. Selected songs have been premiered at show dates alongside Simian Mobile Disco, Chromeo and Bajofondo, and the bulk of the album will be performed at a special headlining show on December 11 with Javelin at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom. Eight permanent members, 16 hands, 20 contributors—it’s a lot of electronica and clapping to take in. Do it anyway.
