The Big Pink is Robbie Furze and Milo Cordell, a U.K. electro-pop duo that takes its name from the large pink house where the Band recorded its 1968 debut album in West Saugerties, N.Y. For the Big Pink’s first LP, A Brief History Of Love (4AD/Beggars), the pair recorded at the famed Electric Lady Studios in NYC. Despite the classic-rock callbacks, these guys probably dance too much to play with Dylan and Jimi. Here is the duo’s latest single, “Dominos,” a catchy, fuzzy, bottle-service anthem about the sadism of breaking a girl’s heart. The Big Pink is touring throughout Europe and the U.S. for the rest of the year.
