Film At 11: Ólafur Arnalds
In April, Ólafur Arnalds recorded one song every day for a week; the results became Found Songs, a collection of beautiful minimalist tracks. This modern, maybe post-modern, release takes you back to the pre-digital days, when music was simply beautiful. The irony of the situation is that each song was originally released via Twitter, and all of the artwork came from fans on Flickr. Found Songs will be released November 10 (on Erased Tapes), including not only the songs, but the fan art as well. We offer you the hypnotizing video for "Ljósið."
