Andrew Belle‘s cover of Bright Eyes’ “First Day Of My Life” seems best suited to words like “lovely,” “delicate” and “winsome.” But, of course, we mean that in the best way, since “First Day Of My Life” is good enough to make you forget all about Mr. Oberst and his lonesome folkie following. “Static Waves” is a Belle original from his upcoming debut album, The Ladder, due in January.
