Film At 11: Emily Easterly

Emily Easterly is a Brooklyn songstress with a sultry voice and a head of fiery red hair. Those lucky enough to be in attendance at her Saturday show at the Living Room in NYC will receive a handmade, limited-edition copy of her new single, “The Only Two On Earth,” featuring b-side “Montreal.” The rest of us will be able to download the two tracks on her website after the show. In the meantime, check out these videos from 2007’s Heart Comma Heart LP. They’re pretty literal interpretations of the songs: “Shadows (Oh Honey)” is a black-and-white experiment with light and shadow, while “Rocks” has a line of rocks following Easterly home and eventually filling up her apartment.
