MP3 At 3PM: Hopewell

Check out the feedback-laden musical journey that is "Stranger," the second single off Hopewell's most recent album, Good Good Desperation (Tee Pee). The band performed the song at this year's All Tomorrow's Parties festival in the Catskill Mountains. The Flaming Lips requested that Hopewell do something "out of the norm" for its set, so the band delivered a 45-minute "piece" complete with a female choir, avant-garde sax player Mark Marinoff and a Jane's Addiction cover.
