I do not know from where Buffy Sainte-Marie got first opportunity to hear Dean & Britta's version of Moonshot - but I did give Ms. Sainte-Marie a cd-copy with cover versions (including that song), when she was performing in Finland at the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival in the summer of 2007. Maybe she listened to it on the airplane back home! I love both versions and am so happy that Dean & Britta found it. I love Buffy and I love people who love her: people like Dean Wareham, Morrissey - and evet the guy from Oasis!
