The music of Boston’s Choo Choo La Rouge lives up to its playful name. The band’s latest, Black Clouds (due August 18 on the Kiam label), offers 10 positive, upbeat tunes to counteract the pain of love, money and the overall plight of the modern world. The video for “Here Come The Guns” doesn’t stray from Choo Choo’s buoyant attitude, despite the warfare its title insinuates; the innovative video goes above and beyond to bring out the brightness.
