Simon Joyner is a man with roots in Louisiana and a lifetime in Nebraska, and the singer/songwriter will be releasing his 12th album, Out Into The Snow (on Conor Oberst’s Team Love label, due September 15). The LP’s “Roll On” epitomizes Joyner’s musical persona as an angry ragtime cowboy and a prehistoric monster of folk.
