The Late Show With David Letterman (CBS): Conor Oberst
Conor Oberst And The Mystic Valley Band kick off the week stopping by Letterman’s studio to play a song (guess: “Nikorette”) from new album Outer South (Merge). Oberst is taking his show on the road with Deep Sea Diver and also spending about two weeks with Wilco on the East Coast. (Sucks to be out West.)

The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien (NBC): Death Cab For Cutie
The members of Death Cab are dropping by The Tonight Show while they’re in L.A., then touring the West Coast. (Sucks to be in the East.) They’ll be playing a song from the recently released The Opendoor EP (Atlantic).

As much as I appreciate Conor, he doesn’t hold a candle to Wilco’s Westcoast tour opener: Okkervil River.
