Twenty-year-old Slim Twig is a jack-of-all-trades. The Canadian actor/musician just realeased a free mix tape, aptly titled Spit It Twig! (Vol. 1), to support his recently released full-length debut, Contempt (Paper Bag). “Young Hussies” is the first release off Contempt, chock full of Slim’s cut-and-paste, sampladelic production, zany lyrics and odd delivery—a rambling style that’s akin to Ian Dury, Falco and Dee Dee Ramone during his rap phase.
